Music for Modern Living started life as a podcast on Podomatic by DJ Nigel Gentry. In March of 2009 Nigel was approached by web-based radio station Radio Wienerwald to host a 2 hour weekly radio show and Music for Modern Living the radio show was born.

Music for Modern Living ran from March 2009 to September 2010 and featured the full spectrum of Funk and Soul music from the modern sounds of The Bamboos, Alice Russell and Speedometer to the classics such as Ann Peebles, James Brown, The Meters, PP Arnold, Marva Whitney, Spanky Wilson any many more.

Currently the MFML show is on hold … We hope to be back sometime soon … In the meantime check out the latest mixes on mixcloud.
