Frank Wilson passed away on 27th September 2012 after a long battle with prostate cancer. Although Frank was a very prolific song writer and producer, having written and produced for artists such as The Supremes, The Miracles, The Four Tops and Eddie Kendricks to a name a few. He is probably most remembered for his seminal track “Do I Love You (Indeed I Do)”. After recording the track Frank decided that he would rather concentrate on producing and had the 250 records that had been pressed destroyed. Two copies did remain and one of these was reportedly sold for £25,000 in 2009.

This mix compiled by DJ Nigel Gentry is a tribute to the music of Frank Wilson. He was involved in each of these tracks either as song writer or producer and of of course how could it not finish off with “Do I Love You (Indeed I Do)”.
