Friday night saw the inaugural session of Canberra’s newest Soul and Funk party – The Get Down.

The Get Down sees the Capital City Soul and Stacks of Wax DJ’s go head to head. Spinning the very best Soul, Funk, R&B and Boogaloo all on Vinyl 45’s.

The Lineup of DJ’s included Keith Miller, Big Daddy Warbucks, Degg, Pactman, Swift Taylor and our own DJ Nigel Gentry. Some of the night was recorded and you can catch Nigel’s set below or by visiting his mixcloud channel.
