For the 19th mix in our Guest DJ Series we bring you Al The Soulman. We’ve been following Al for sometime on Mixcloud and are super impressed with his selections.
Al The Soulman was born in South London in the late 60’s and now lives in the London suburbs. The son of a Jazz guitarist and with a mum who loved Dusty. He’s musical influences started early in life. Al began collecting records in the late seventies and by the mid 80’s started DJ’ing and still spins to this day. Al is a fan of the music first and a DJ second. He loves and plays all types of Soul and Groove that gets the head nodding and toes tapping.
A family man and in his own words. “This hobby and way of life fits perfectly in to family life with my wife and two daughters (my wife chose a couple of tracks for this!).”
