If you were a fan of UK band New Street Adventure then you will most likely have heard the voice of Carmy Love before. She was one of the bands backing singers along with Emma Noble.
Carmy is clearly influenced by the ‘Crossover Soul’ period of the late 60’s and early 70’s. ‘Thinkin’ About You‘ kicks off with some bold brass and a killer baseline, but it’s Carmy’s voice that steals the show. Soul music fans will be excited to hear what else Carmy has up her sleeve. Because if this teaser is an indication then good things are yet to come from this talented singer.
‘Thinkin About You‘ is Carmy Love’s debut single, released digitally on 26 March 2021 on Big AC Records. With the 7″ vinyl due for release mid-May. The vinyl will feature Carmy’s next single on the A side with ‘Thinking About You‘ on the flip.
