Kylie Auldist - Is It Fun EPKylie Auldist comes correct with her latest release on Soul Bank Music. Squarely aimed at the dancefloor this 6 track EP released today features remixes of tracks ‘Is It Fun‘, ‘I Get It’ and ‘Stay in Front‘.

Originals of all tracks featured on her ‘This Is What Happiness Look Like‘ album, released last year. If you like your House Music heavily influenced by eighties boogie and a nod to disco then these remixes will be right up your alley.

The Waz are on remix duties for ‘I Get It‘ and ‘Stay in Front‘. Putting that eighties boogie-esque sound front and centre. Richard Earnshaw provides the rework under his Sugar Soul guise for ‘Is It Fun‘. He provides 3 mixes including extended and instrumental versions. As always Richard brings his A game, taking the track into funky house territory, while keeping those inimitable vocals from Kylie front and centre.

Often referred to as the High Priestess of Melbourne Soul, Kylie has done the hard work. She’s been the lead singer of Soul and Funk outfit The Bamboos for 20 years and was the voice behind the worldwide smash ‘This Girl‘ by Cookin’ on 3 Burners. Soul and Funk is clearly in her bones but it’s clear that Disco and Boogie influenced music is what she lives for. It’s great to see Kylie being recognised as a singer in her own right and putting out the music that she clearly was born to sing.

Check out and purchase ‘Is It Fun / I Get It EP‘ below and if you haven’t got it already nab yourself a copy of the ‘This Is What Happiness Look Like‘ LP.
