The brand new single from Matt Berry sees him team up with UK Soul Sensation Emma Noble. ‘Beatmaker‘ is a cover version of the 1970 Psych-Funk number by Swedish singer Doris.
The track received its premier on the BAFTA Award-winning series ‘TOAST‘ on BBC2 in the UK on 4th January and is available for streaming on Spotify.
As to be expected with such a stellar hookup. This release is pure fire! The marriage of Emma’s flawless vocals and those big drums, coupled with some rather tasty horns and a funky bassline. Makes for an upbeat, uplifting and seriously danceable tune.
Vinyl collectors will have to wait a while for the limited edition picture sleeve 45. Available for pre-order now via bandcamp and the Acid Jazz website. Due for shipping in late March 2022.
