Thee Marloes – Midnight Hotline

Thee Marloes, the latest signing to Brooklyn-based record label Big Crown Records have released their debut single. The band hail from Surabaya, Indonesia. Their sound mixes elements of their local culture and music with Soul, Funk and Jazz.
Midnight Hotline, is an infectious soul tune resplendent with catchy horn lines, electric piano and a cruisy vocal from singer Natassya. She tells the story of a late night love she can’t get enough of.
The flip takes a differnt tack, Beri Cinta Waktu is a ballad sung in Indonesian with a stripped back backing track. Natassya’s vocals shine through on this deeply soulful number.
