Cookin’ On 3 Burners ft Stella Angelico – I’m Comin’ Home To You

Australia’s Cookin on 3 Burners return with their latest 7-inch single I’m Coming Home To You. The Melbourne-based organ funk trio have teemed up with their resident live show vocalist Stella Angelico on this latest release.
I’m Coming Home To You expands on the bands trio sound with the addition of a horn section courtesy of Rohan Wallis on Trumpet and also sees the bands organist Jake Mason dabble in both Tenor and Baritone Saxophone.
A stomper of a tune, in the words of the band it “captures the essence of returning home to find the nourishment you crave”.
The B-side, Whole Woman is a slower sultry tune, also featuring the wonderful vocals of Stella Angelico. It grooves along, showcasing Stella’s vocals to the max while the band provide the perfect backing.
Cookin’ On 3 Burners are the epitome of the Melbourne funk sound. Having been around the traps since the late nineties these folks know a thing or two about making dancefloor friendly funk-based music. This latest soul-infused single is no exception.
