Last year we brought you the worldwide premier of Camellia Hartman’s debut single for Dala Records – Breathin Hard Over You.
Released today, Return the Favor, is her second single for the label. Camellia is once again backed by Dala Records in-house band The Soulful Saints.
We loved the Northern Soul and Motown influenced sound on Breathin Hard Over You and this new single gives us more of that classic sound. With record label founder Billy Aukstik at the controls and with a new hand-built Brooklyn studio at his finger tips we’re excited for more material from this label.
DJ’s the world over have been desperate to get Breathin Hard Over You on vinyl and their wishes might just come true. Word on the street is that Return the Favor will get a full physical release on 45 in the near future with Breathin Hard Over You on the flip. Keep it locked and we’ll let you know once we have more info.
