Quantic Plays His Favorite Records

Recently the man like Quantic was invited by Okayplayer to play some records and some music for their “A Day In” series on Okayplayer TV.
Quantic’s new longplayer (Magnetica) is imminent, coming out on Tru Thoughts next week. As you’d expect there’s a myriad of influences on the album including music from Ethiopia, Jamaica, Brazil and Angola.
In the video below Quantic plays some of his rarest records. Including one of his favourites an unknown record from Hong Kong or China that features traditional Chinese instrumentation coupled with cha cha cha!
