We’ve been huge fans of the Work Your Soul podcast here at Music for Modern Living for several years now. The monthly podcast presented by Gail Smith, features the very best Sixties Soul, Rhythm and Blues and Northern Soul tunes, all played on original vinyl!

So to say we were excited when Gail agreed to put a mix together for our Guest DJ Series, is a huge understatement.

Gail Smith is originally from the UK, but has been based near Melbourne, Australia since 1998. She’s been hosting the Work Your Soul podcast since 2010. If you’re new to Gail’s podcast then make sure you head into the archives on iTunes or Mixcloud and start playing catchup!
